The OpenID Foundation membership has approved the following International Government Assurance Profile (iGov) specifications as OpenID Implementer’s Drafts:

• International Government Assurance Profile (iGov) for OAuth 2.0
• International Government Assurance Profile (iGov) for OpenID Connect 1.0

An Implementer’s Draft is a stable version of a specification providing intellectual property protections to implementers of the specification. These are the first iGov Implementer’s Drafts. The Implementer’s Drafts are available at:

• http://openid.net/specs/openid-igov-openid-connect-1_0-ID1.html

The voting results were:

• Approve - 52 votes
• Object - 2 vote
• Abstain - 5 votes
