Implementer’s Drafts of Two FAPI 2.0 Specifications Approved

The OpenID Foundation membership has approved the following Financial-grade API (FAPI) specifications as OpenID Implementer’s Drafts:

• FAPI 2.0 Baseline Profile
• FAPI 2.0 Attacker Model

An Implementer’s Draft is a stable version of a specification providing intellectual property protections to implementers of the specification. These are the first FAPI 2.0 Implementer’s Drafts.

The Implementer’s Drafts are available at:

• https://openid.net/specs/fapi-2_0-attacker-model-ID1.html

The voting results were:

• Approve – 52 votes
• Object – 2 votes
• Abstain – 3 votes

Total votes: 57 (out of 273 members = 20.9% > 20% quorum requirement)
