Implementer’s Drafts of Two iGov Specifications Approved


The OpenID Foundation membership has approved the following International Government Assurance Profile (iGov) specifications as OpenID Implementer’s Drafts:

  • International Government Assurance Profile (iGov) for OAuth 2.0
  • International Government Assurance Profile (iGov) for OpenID Connect 1.0

An Implementer’s Draft is a stable version of a specification providing intellectual property protections to implementers of the specification. These are the first iGov Implementer’s Drafts.

  • Approve – 52 votes
  • Object – 2 vote
  • Abstain – 5 votes

Total votes: 59 (out of 264 members = 22% > 20% quorum requirement)
